Course content
|
Students of master's program can enroll in this course as in so-called second studio. Weeks 1 - 13 Assigning semester project topics, presentation of problems. Study of the issue, a visiting teacher's lecture. Continuous creation, corrections, consultations and implementation of seminar sub-tasks. Continuous creation, corrections, consultations and implementation of semester project. Consultation about sketches. Implementation of models, scenarios, computer simulations with photographs. Individual consultations. Consultation and collective workshop. Guest lecturer. Consultation of options and choice of implemented prototypes with the teacher and invited guests. Study trips, visits to exhibitions, debates. Finalization of semester project, presentation and submission, installation, dialogue. Finalization and installation, students' teamwork. Presentations in the form of CD and DVD portfolio.

to recall the basic techniques of traditional art disciplines, to describe several untraditional methods and materials usable for creative expression, to reproduce the names and definitions of the basic building elements of the visual language with accent on space and concept to bring together basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines, mostly object and context design to compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (both own and foreign), to describe own comparison to apply knowledge about basic painters and sculptors morphology when designing the assigned task |
