Course content
|
1. Deduction of basic stylistic notions. 2. Inspiration and stylistics. Choice of methods and topics. 3. Wording of coherent texts according to syntactic relations, connection between linguistic and communication part of the subject matter. 4. Practice of narrative and its methods at grammar school level. 5. Practice of description and its methods at grammar school level. Simple description of objects, animals, people and personalities (inner characteristics). 6. Practice of description and its methods at grammar school level - description of larger units, action and subjective description. 7. Creative approach to discourse. 8. Practice of dialogues. 9. Practice of monologues. 10. Creative aspect of essay practice. 11. Stylistic practice at SOU. 12. Correction and assessment of the written and spoken assignments of stylistics. Introduction and critical analysis/evaluation of specific assessment tools and scoring procedures used in a given subject
