Course content
|
Ontogeny and phylogeny of speech and language. Periods of speech development until the age of six years - the preliminary period and the period of speech development. Stimuli and barriers in development of children's speech, methods and means of education. Areas of speech development in RVP PV. Clutters and defects in children's speech. Learning and improvement of grammatically correct speech and the development of the sense of grammatical correctness in language. Development of coherent speech. Possibility of the usage of individual pictures and groups of pictures and works of art. Elements of drama education in the development of children's speech. Supplementary materials needed for language-centred education. Communication games. Diagnostics of the level of children's locution. Planning of its development during organized and spontaneous activities. Mastery of the skills prior to reading and writing, support of interest in the written form of the language. Training of the children's voice and non-verbal communication.

Students are able to - understand the process of the development in speech of children of pre-school age, - apply theoretical knowledge during the creation of the optimal conditions needed for positive development in speech, - identify prospective speech defects of children of pre-school age, - minimize the possibility of the development of the speech defects, - classify the level of children's elocution, - plan the activities important for the improvement of children's speech in accordance with RVP PV. |
