Course content
|
1. Programme of the course, student requirements, form of course completion, examination form, literature. Course description, basic terminology of phonetics and phonology, phonetic transcription. 2. Basis of human speech - production and perception. 3. Classification of Czech vowels, their system. 4. Classification of Czech consonants. 5. Consonants according to the place and manner of articulation. 6. Correct pronunciation, orthoepic standards of spoken Czech. 7. Acoustic means of connected speech. 8. Means of speech modulation. 9. Segmentation of connected speech, stress. 10. Phonological opposites. 11. Phonemes, their variants, neutralisation of opposites and alternation. 12. Dynamism of the Czech system of phonemes. 13. Credit test.
