Course content
1. Jobs in Engineering: Let me introduce myself, jobs 2. Applying for a job: Job Interview, applying for a job covering letter and CV 3. Household appliances, functions of appliances, operating instructions, security 4. Writing emails: Formal or informal, enquiry 5. Fridge, washing machine, microwave oven 6. Computer 7. Computers and people, workplace safety, giving instructions, warnings, addressing problems 8. Mobile phones, computer games, modern media 9. Realization of an experiment, instructions, advice and recommendations 10. Application, interview, cover letter, talk about job search, talk about yourself 11. Starting a new job, orientation in the new company, location information, professional telephone calls 12. Comment on technical sketches, statistics and graphics, interpret tables 13. Test Students of the subject NST6 have at their disposal the e-learning program NST6. Access is via moodle.zcu.cz.

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 20 hours per semester
