Course content
|
Students are divided into groups of Remedial Physical Education on the basis of doctor?s recommendation. Classes are orientated on influencing the weakened organism from the point of view of prevention, compensation and regeneration. This subject is intended for students with permanent or temporary handicap of physical development or the handicap of their state of health. According to their handicap students are divided into several groups: 1. weakened ability of movement - a) weakened trunk b) weakened limbs 2. weakened inner organs ? a) weakened cardio-vascular system b) weakened respiratory system c) metabolic disorders d) disorders of digestive system

Students with temporary handicap of physical development (injury, operation) get familiar with exercises suitable for the compensation of their muscle disbalance influenced by the injury. Students get systematically prepared for full-value exercising. After successful completion of the course students with individual kinds of weaknesses and disorders should be able to choose and do suitable exercises according to their handicap. They should also be able to use medically sporting aids (skipping rope, Oweball, gymnastic ball, balance plane, etc.) and if possible gradually join P.E. classes. |
