Key learning outcomes Graduates of physical education and sport demonstrate their knowledge and skills in both theoretical and practical point of view. They are able to design, plan, organize and realize effective teaching unit (school lesson, thematic unit, special physical education and sports courses, free time activity in physical education and sports), with using of traditional and digital technologies, to analyze its concepts and to motivate students to be active and approach to subject responsibly. They support their proficiency and orientation in the field of physical education and sport by application of modern methods to physical education work experience. Graduetes are able to decide independently and solve concrete problems during their taught lessons, they are able to explain and defend their own chosen teaching methods among studets and teachers. They are able to solve problems in the team with using corresponding significant methods. Certainly they search information from kinantropology in all available databases, they study literature from qualified sector, they analyse and apply this knowledge as the result of their final work.Graduates are able to present and defend the results of individual and team solutions from a given problem of physical education and sport face to face a special committee as well as his/her classmates in Czech and in one other foreign language at B2 level.

Profile of the programme This study fieldis designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of kinanthropology and didactics of physical education. At the same time, it comprises a block of courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice. The programme also includes practical training at the school. This study programme is designed to equip the future graduate with theoretical background and skills necessary to work as a teacher of physical education at secondary school.
