Key learning outcomes | The programme is a continuation of a Bachelor programme. It runs for a standard length of 2 years. To meet the programme requirements a student is expected: to obtain at least 120 credits (corresponding to 120 credits in ECTS), to write and defend their Master thesis and to pass the final state examination.
Specific admission requirements | Previous completion of technical-oriented Bachelor studies
Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning | General Rules for the Recognition of Previous Studies
Qualification requirements and regulations | 120 ECTS credits, Diploma Thesis, Final State Examination
Profile of the programme | Graduates of this programme will be able to use the most modern and most efficient methods for machining construction materials (complete machining, progressive machining, HSC, multi-axis machining, non-conventional machining methods, etc.) with the support of NC programming, assembly and metrology. They will be able to analyze any occurring problems using knowledge of materials structure, management, quality, ergonomics, etc.
Persistence requirements | unspecified
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples | The graduate will find employment in engineering production, research institutes, and operations in the field of machining technology, tool design, ergonomics, assembly, quality and metrology.
