Key learning outcomes | The objective of the follow-up subject of Civil Engineering is to prepare graduates in the field of structural engineering so that they are able to perform independent designs and static assessments of structures, to manage constructions and to use structures. This consist especially of the following: ? Designing of buildings with the use of computers ? Steel, wooden and reinforced-concrete structures and their integration into modern objects ? Designing of low-energy structures and environmentally friendly structures ? Use of progressive building structures and technologies ? Introduction of constructional and relating legal regulations and their use in practice ? Work on area development and preparation of new investments ? Introduction of historical structures, assessment and renovation of old buildings ? Management of constructions and construction operations ? Diagnostics of constructions and renovation of buildings ? Running business in the field of structural engineering. | ||||
