Key learning outcomes
|
The programme is a continuation of a Bachelor programme. It runs for a standard length of 2 years. To meet the programme requirements a student is expected: to obtain at least 120 credits (corresponding to 120 credits in ECTS), to write and defend their Master thesis and to pass the final state examination.

Profile of the programme
|
The graduate will have learned the latest calculations and design methods using computer technology in the fields of industrial power engineering, heat power plants, including alternative energy sources. He/she will know the basics of designing and operating nuclear power plants. The graduate will know how to carry out analysis and solution of particular problems in the design and operation of heat and flow plants, create variants and optimize solutions in terms of effective possibilities for using energy sources in a particular area. Through the stated design and development activities the student will gain knowledge of mathematics, physics, mechanics, fluid mechanics, structure of materials, technology, etc.
