Key learning outcomes | The aim of the study is to develop graduate competencies in the following areas: (a) authorial and custom artwork in fashion design and fashion accessories design, b) reflection of own style framework and its comparison with other authors, c) independent and conscious choice of expressive means of art and applied art for their work with an emphasis on mastering the future development of new technologies, d) flexible management of multidisciplinary projects and language education, increasing the graduate's competitiveness in the labor market. | ||||

Persistence requirements | Podmínky pokračování studia se řídí ustanoveními uvedenými v aktuální a platné verzi Studijního a zkušebního řádu Západočeské univerzity v Plzni, nebo aktuálními a platnými vnitřními normami fakulty, které tuto oblast upravují. Obecně lze konstatovat, že v navazujícím magisterském studijním programu se standardní dobou studia 2 roky, je nutno získat minimálně 120 kreditů v předepsané skladbě. Pro absolvování studia a získání titulu MgA., je nutné vypracovat a obhájit diplomovou práci a úspěšně složit státní závěrečnou zkoušku. | ||||
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples | A graduate of the Fashion Design specialty demonstrates a profound knowledge of technological processes, materials and editing in the design and manufacture of clothing, shoes and fashion accessories. He / she is able to design and manage supporting professions in the implementation of complete fashion collections or production lines through his / her own creative work and organize and arrange their presentation to the professional and wider public through a fashion show or showcase presentation. Uses his/her work as an experimental tool to widen and deepen the limits of human knowledge. In the field of communicative competence, is prepared for research, writing technical and technological documentation and exploring the style of his own work, supported by knowledge of art history. He/she is able to manage the design team, communicate with producers and successfully defend the work before the client. | ||||
