Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates from this course are equipped with the theoretical knowledge necessary for studying this technical discipline. They will be able to read and draw technical diagrams, carry out basic technical calculations, analyse heat balance diagrams, be familiar with specialist technical terminology and have an overview of basic technical, material, technological and economic disciplines. The graduate will have knowledge of the fundamental principles of the transformation of energy and its realization in heat equipment.

Profile of the programme
|
The program is conceived as an academic, is made up of blocks of theoretical subjects of mathematics, physics and mechanics. At the same time, it comprises of block/blocks of courses focused on theoretical background usage in practice and on acquiring skills that the graduate can apply in various professions, for example, Design of Power Machines and Equipment. The graduate is especially prepared for study in a follow-up Master's study program in a related field of study Design of Power Machines and Equipment and Nuclear Power Equipment Design. In addition, after successful completion of this study program, the graduate can apply for positions in various fields, such as design of power machines and equipment.

Absolvent může po ukončení studia bez problému studovat v navazujícím magisterském studijním programu na FST ZČU v Plzni a jiných VŠ technického zaměření.
