Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the study is to develop the competences of the graduate in the following fields: (a) author's creation exposed to conceptual understanding of design, object creation, installation, interactive installation, large-scale projection, photography, videoart, performance and a combination of these resources, b) reflection of its own style framework and its comparison with other authors, c) mastering the basic technical and technological processes of creation with emphasis on managing the future development of new technologies, d) flexible management of multidisciplinary projects and language education increasing the competitiveness of the graduate in the labor market.

Podmínky pokračování studia se řídí ustanoveními uvedenými v aktuální a platné verzi Studijního a zkušebního řádu Západočeské univerzity v Plzni, nebo aktuálními a platnými vnitřními normami fakulty,které tuto oblast upravují. Obecně lze konstatovat, že v bakalářském studijním programu se standardní dobou studia 4 roky, je nutno získat minimálně 240 kreditů v předepsané skladbě. Pro absolvování studia a získání titlulu BcA., je nutné vypracovat a obhájit bakalářskou práci a úspěšně složit státní bakalářskou zkoušku.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
|
Graduate of the specialization New Media demonstrates knowledge of basic technological processes of conceptual, material and digital creation, acquaintance with conventional and unconventional materials useful for creative expression in 2D and 3D space, some unusual possibilities of using techniques and materials and related fields (industrial and graphic design, advertising production, intermedia), knowledge of techniques and technologies suitable for keeping records of temporary works - performative artworks. He/she applies his/her knowledge in his/her own work emphasizing multimedia and interactive experimental crossover in the spirit of crossover. In the area of communicative competence he/she is ready to create research, to express the style of his/her own work with the support of the knowledge of the history of art and the history of art, and to present the solutions proposed to the professional and lay public with support in a broader context.
