Key learning outcomes | This program will provide you with a comprehensive technical-environmental foundation that will allow you to continue with subsequent master's studies and further deepen your professional knowledge. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of materials, eco-materials (including recycled materials), including their impact on the environment and technological procedures for their processing. You will learn to apply the principles of sustainability throughout the product life cycle, from product design to recycling. You will master methods of construction and production with regard to minimizing negative environmental impacts and reducing the energy intensity of processes, while ensuring high efficiency of production operations. You will be prepared for the technical and economic challenges associated with the implementation of ecological solutions in industrial practice, in accordance with European legislation regarding environmental and climate goals. You will develop your soft skills needed for effective communication and collaboration across different disciplines, which will enable you to successfully manage even large-scale and challenging projects.
Specific admission requirements | Grade average at secondary school with special regard to Maths; specialized activities at secondary school and successful completion of the National Comparative Exams (NSZ) will be taken into consideration
Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning | General Rules for the Recognition of Previous Studies
Qualification requirements and regulations | 180 ECTS credits, Final State Examination
Profile of the programme | The graduate of the Bachelor's degree programme "Environmental Engineering and Technology" will have comprehensive knowledge of the impact of industrial production on the environment, will be able to identify relevant risks, implement optimal technological, energy and production measures that will contribute to the permanent reduction of the environmental burden of production.
Persistence requirements | Absolvent může po ukončení studia bez problému studovat v navazujícím magisterském studijním programu na FST ZČU v Plzni a jiných VŠ technického zaměření.
