Key learning outcomes This programme will provide you with a comprehensive technical and environmental foundation that will enable you to continue on to further Masters studies and further develop your expertise. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of materials, eco-materials (including recycled materials), including their environmental impact and processing techniques. You will learn to apply sustainability principles throughout the product life cycle, from product design to recycling. You will learn how to design and manufacture with a view to minimising negative environmental impacts and reducing the energy intensity of processes, while ensuring high efficiency in production operations. You will be prepared for the technical and economic challenges associated with implementing green solutions in industrial practice, in line with European legislation relating to environmental and climate targets. You will develop the soft skills needed to communicate and collaborate effectively across different disciplines, enabling you to successfully manage large and demanding projects.
Specific admission requirements Grade average at secondary school with special regard to Maths; specialized activities at secondary school and successful completion of the National Comparative Exams (NSZ) will be taken into consideration
Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning General Rules for the Recognition of Previous Studies
Qualification requirements and regulations 180 ECTS credits, Bachelor Thesis, Final State Examination
Profile of the programme The graduate of the Bachelor's degree programme "Environmental Engineering and Technology" will have comprehensive knowledge of the impact of industrial production on the environment, will be able to identify relevant risks, implement optimal technological, energy and production measures that will contribute to the permanent reduction of the environmental burden of production.
Persistence requirements Absolvent může po ukončení studia bez problému studovat v navazujícím magisterském studijním programu na FST ZČU v Plzni a jiných VŠ technického zaměření.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples A highly qualified professional with a comprehensive view of environmental issues in the field of green skills and sustainability.
