Key learning outcomes | The graduate from this study programme will have the knowledge and experience necessary for working with the development, design, manufacture, operation and safety of nuclear power equipment and all other technical equipment where radioactive radiation occurs. Study is focused on acquiring the necessary knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, basic engineering and electrical engineering. Basic theory of the following is needed to master the subjects in the study programme: reactor physics, thermodynamics and regulation of nuclear reactors, design and technology solutions for nuclear equipment, etc. Graduates will have knowledge of construction and assembly, start-up, operational safety, the influence of nuclear power on the environment, etc. Graduates will be professionally qualified to share in the realisation of national and international nuclear power projects. | ||||
